Chad Small is a freelance journalist and PhD student in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington. Chad’s journalist work – frequently centering on environmental justice, science policy, and potential responses to climate change – has been featured in Grist, Next City, and Gothamist. He holds a BS in Environmental Engineering from Yale University and a MS in Earth and Atmospheric Science from the City College of New York.
