Mariya Strauss

A writer and editor who lives in Baltimore, Mariya Strauss has had her work published in The Baffler, The Nation, In These Times, The Public Eye (a quarterly of Political Research Associates), and publishes a column three times a year at the journal New Labor Forum of the Murphy Labor Institute of City University of New York. Her 2013 investigation for The Nation on safety protections for teen workers in agriculture earned her a Clarion Award, and was shortlisted for the MOLLY Award at the Texas Observer.
